About Us

Austin Area Associate
Kathy Robinson

Kathy became interested in green building while working in an energy conservation program for the City of Austin. Recently retired after 21 years with the city, primarily in IT, she turned her attention to sustainability, green building, and deconstruction. Several conversations with TRP’s Texas regional manager resulted in an opportunity to do something meaningful and challenging to benefit her city. Ten years working as a commercial real estate appraiser provides additional valuable experience.

Why Deconstruction?

Deconstruction is the environmentally responsible process of salvaging reusable building materials. In this short video learn more about deconstruction from Ted Reiff, CEO of The ReUse People of America, on a deconstruction job site.

Safe and Guaranteed

We partner with professional, experienced, and insured contractors to provide deconstruction services for our clients. Safety is our first priority, second only to our desire to divert as much reusable building material from the landfill as possible. All of our team members are trained in best practices for salvaging cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, lumber and anything else that still has useful life. Our work is guaranteed to meet the rigorous safety and quality standards of The ReUse People while striving to maximize our clients’ bottom line.
